Description |
Clivia is a plant that is native to southern Africa. This herbaceous evergreen plant has green, strap-like leaves. Its flowers are bell-shaped on a stalk above the foliage and are usually found in red, orange or yellow that produce a faint, sweet perfume. Mature specimens can grow to approximately 18" tall. |

Care |
Clivia prefers partial to full shade, with temperatures between about 60ºF to 80ºF. Water well in the summer, but avoid soggy soil. During the resting period (October to February), keep the plant almost dry at 46ºF to 50ºF. Fertilize every 14 days or so - or apply a slow-release fertilizer periodically. |
